The day has come and Ethan Haas, and I know that it is Godzilla, the King of the Monsters who will be coming. Here are my reasons and don't dismiss them:

1. Sony lost the rights to a sequel in 2003 and they went back to Toho. Paramount has secretly struck a deal with Toho Co., Ltd. on getting the rights to it.

2. People claiming this Godzilla 3-D to the Max is the next Godzilla film; no, it isn't. Yoshimitsu Banno, who directed Godzilla Vs. The Smog Monster in 1971 always wanted to make a follow up. He finally got permission to do it in 2005. The 3-D Godzilla is going to be an IMAX film roughly 45 minutes in length and the Godzilla is not the American Godzilla, it is the Japanese Godzilla.

3. On the commentary for the U.S. DVD of Godzilla 2000, the producer stated that they did not have permission to use the roar of the American Godzilla. Subsequently, if you see the film Godzilla: Final Wars you can tell a great deal of difference between the roars in both films. Obviously showing that the roar belongs to Tri-Star/Sony Pictures.

4. Rumors of a Godzilla sequel appeared on a German film site in January of 2007, and a Godzilla fan site had it "debunked" but several things stated didn't make sense. A quote from Amy Pascal states "If a film makes 400 million dollars, than it gets a sequel." This is not true, Sony is currently doing sequels to films that don't even come close to making that amount of money (Half Past Dead 2, When A Stranger Calls 2, Silent Hill 2 to name a couple) ; the American Godzilla film made $375 million dollars worldwide.

5. In the trailer that leaked on the internet, several things make it obvious:
A woman says "Rob, have fun in Japan!"
The head of the Statue of Liberty, to people who have seen the Japanese poster of the American Godzilla film, it shows his foot behind the Statue of Liberty.

6. What looks like a wing can be seen in the trailer, if it is not a Godzilla film, it's a Rodan film.

7. The Japanese Godzilla films are done at the moment with 2004's Godzilla: Final Wars. After Godzilla went into hiatus in 1995 with the supposed death in Godzilla Vs. Destoroyah, the American film stepped up a few years later; it seems as though history is repeating itself.

I have named seven good reasons on how it could be Godzilla. Please do not dismiss my reasons.
